EXCHANGE AND RETURN POLICY
Shades of India endeavours to ensure that every transaction on our web boutique is seamless. We take great care in delivering our products and adhere to the highest quality standards.
Given the nature of our products, we reserve the sole discretion to provide the resolution as we deem fit. Each return or exchange request is handled on a case by case basis and we encourage you to get in touch with our team for prompt resolution.
If you want to exchange your purchase, please inform us within 72 hours of receiving the package, on firstname.lastname@example.org, contact us on +91 98910 88522 between 10am and 6pm.
If you receive a damaged product or the item doesn’t match the item in your order confirmation, please share the details with your order number and description of the damaged item. We will make sure our customer care team addresses your query in the best possible manner.
We will re-fulfil your order with the same or similar product after review of the wrong delivery/quality/ manufacturing defect within a specific time frame. In case, the product is out of stock or not available, an e-credit note will be issued, redeemable only on our web boutique.
Please share the details of your order, delivery address, a photograph of the product you would like to exchange and reason for exchange. Please ensure that the product is unused, unworn and the original tags are intact. In case you do not wish to exchange your product for another product, a credit note will be emailed to you, with a validity of six months from the date of issue.
Please note, Home & Living products can be returned for a credit note only in the case of a genuine quality defect.
How to exchange
We will organise the return pickup from you through our logistics partners, however, in cases of free delivery, this service will not be applicable. This service can only be availed once. You are requested to keep the package ready with all original packing, tags and the invoice copy. Products bought from our web boutique cannot be exchanged or returned in-store.
In the event of unavailability of reverse pick-up facility from your address, you are requested to please courier your order back to us to the below address:

We will be unable to provide exchange if the customer has provided a wrong or incomplete shipping address or if there are 3 failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency, and/or the package is refused by the recipient.
Purchases made during on sale/discounts/gift-voucher are not eligible for any return or exchange.
Shipping cost and processing fee are non-refundable and will not be included in the value of the issued credit voucher.
Once we have received your return
Once we receive the products a closure will be provided to your request as per your preference i.e. credit voucher or exchange. We will process this as quickly as possible, please allow us seven working days from receipt for this to be done.
We will send email notifications to keep you updated on the status of your return, from receipt of the return package in our warehouse to the completion of your replacement order. All email notifications will only be sent to the address given on your order at the time it was placed.
You can cancel/modify within 24 hours of placing your order by writing to us at email@example.com, provided the order hasn’t been shipped.
Once your order is found eligible for cancellation by our team we will issue a credit voucher redeemable on www.shadesofindia.com within 60 days.
