In timeless classics

Our charming textiles come together to create magic, we love when people make our designs, their own - that's when handcrafted magic shines through. "Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak." —Rachel Zoe.

Our most loved

From our travelogues

Beautiful Attachments

An emotional journey through the archives and textile treasure trove of Mandeep Nagi and David Housego. A collection of textiles that inspire, handloom weaves and designs from the keepers of textile crafts from around the world.

Suzani – The David Housego Collection

Suzani (Tajik for “needle-crafted”) embroideries are unique in design and technique to Central Asia, and particularly to the Uzbek and Tajik communities. They were made as wall hangings or bed coverings. The older surviving pieces date from the late 18th century through to the 19th.

Phulkari, Punjab

One of our most favourites, a true jewel of a textile this Bagh piece has been given its very own special name by Mandeep – The Gold Cloth✨ The lustrous silk threads are so intricately embroidered on the khaddar that they almost become one with the base fabric. A rare piece we all cherish❤️

Shaman Scrolls, Northern Vietnam

Found in a non-descript basement in Hanoi, Vietnam. These scrolls would've belonged to Shaman. As we unbundle these scrolls and give them a new home, we are in awe. Painted, perhaps over 150 years ago, their power has not diminished. Extraordinary colours extracted from natural dyes, strong and well balanced.

Ikat (abr) Coat, Uzbekistan, 19th Century

A peek into the personal archive of Central Asian textiles, chanced upon and collected on travels. Like a treasured suzani almost 150 years old and a 19th century Ikat coat from Uzbekistan, amongst other rare and beautiful treasures.

Red Suzani, 19th Century, Tashkent, Uzbekistan

A suzani is a hand-embroidered textile panel. Originally created by the nomadic tribes of Central Asia, suzanis are valued for their absolutely divine craftsmanship. The Red Suzani pictured here is approximately 100 years old.
